    ONE of Queensland's best known criminal lawyers, Michael Bosscher, has filed for bankruptcy and is appealing a Queensland Law Society decision to cancel his certificate to practise as a solicitor in Queensland.
    Mr Bosscher, a founding partner of defunct law firm Ryan & Bosscher, now works for his wife's firm, Bosscher Lawyers, and is one of the solicitors representing accused wife murderer Gerard Baden-Clay.

    The four-bedroom Brisbane home where accused killer Gerard Baden-Clay lived with his wife and their daughters for six years will be re-let for $460 per week.

    Mrs Baden-Clay, 43, was reported missing by her husband on the morning of April 20 he was charged with her murder two months later.

    The modest Brookfield home features 1980s decor, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, open-plan living and entertainment patio.

    It was advertised as being available for rent from August 21. The property was advertised by Harcourts' Kenmore office as a "must inspect'' listing.

    THE father of Brookfield mother Allison Baden-Clay is seeking to take control of her estate from husband Gerard, who is in custody waiting to face a committal hearing on a murder charge.
    The Brisbane Supreme Court will on Wednesday hear an application by Geoffrey James Dickie to take over his late daughter's estate, collect and protect her assets and pay the debts of the estate.

    Justice Glenn Martin on Wednesday ordered Allison's father, Geoffrey James Dickie, be appointed as administrator of her estate until such time as Gerard is found either guilty or innocent of his wife's murder.
