Police look for suspects in violent beating of soldier
Why? The violence is out of control. My prayers are with this soldier and his family.
"Police say the attackers made no threats against Aparico and that very little was said during the confrontation. Lt. Mary O'Connor says they asked Aparico for $1, but before he could respond they began beating him.
"He didn't do anything to provoke them whatsoever," said O'Connor. "They just happen to be walking in the same part of town as him, and they just unleashed a vicious attack on him for no apparent reason."
Police think Aparico was targeted randomly. The violent thieves took his wallet and cell phone, leaving him struggling for help."
