It's just way too early for this nonsense...

"The first storm of the season that officially begins June 1 was not expected to approach landfall on the Carolinas' coast, but it had prompted a tropical storm watch and forecasters warned that it could produce high winds, heavy surf, rip currents and scattered rain across the region."

But then, maybe an early start will truly mean a light season.

Aw...Thanks for thinking of me! Naw...I am waaaaay over here in the NW Panhandle. We have a place here in Destin on the water where I spend a lot of time and happen to be right now, but I live in Pensacola - about 10 minutes from the water. We will get some rain probably from this storm if it makes it's way over here, but I don't suppose anything too bad. We could use some rain actually. :seeya:

A very early storm. The water should still be too cold for TS activity.
