A woman from Nixa has been charged with exploitation of a minor and promoting child *advertiser censored* in Christian County after allegedly confessing to using her 3 year-old daughter to make child *advertiser censored*.

According to the probable cause statement, Megan Nell Bowman, 23, walked in to the Nixa Police Department last Sunday (05-20-12) and said she wanted to confess to creating child *advertiser censored*.

I just read that blog; this 'mother' is disgusting. :sick:

I hope her children are placed with someone other than her.
 
Article states the feds may charge her, because she sent the pics to people in other states. Let's hope they do, since there's no parole in the federal system.

After further interviews by a Detective with Nixa’s Cyber Crimes Unit, Bowman eventually confessed to molesting both the girl and a 2-year-old boy.

Bowman’s estranged husband, an Ozark resident, reported her to police after discovering a photo of the 3-year-old in a pornographic act in his wife’s email. He forwarded the email to police. Bowman reportedly turned herself in to police.

The Christian County Prosecuting Attorney’s office may also pursue a charge of statutory sodomy against Bowman.

Hi Jacie,
That never occured to me. I just tried checking online, I couldn't find an answer. Admittedly, though, I didn't check too thoroughly, as I don't want Google to wonder why I'm trying to find out the penalties for trafficking in kiddie *advertiser censored*. :jail:
WTF was this woman thinking? Some guy says, "hey honey, send me some pics of you sexually abusing your own children, that'll turn me on" and not only does she not run screaming to the police, she does what he asks???

Thanks for checking. We don't want to have to bail you put. Yea she is no 'mom of the year' award winner. How desperate do you hafta be to do that?

I think it is people like her that are the reason aliens haven't shown themselves on our planet. They looked around and said, 'No thanks, and y'all think WE are weird'.

thank goodness the father discovered this and hopefully she will never have access to either child again

she would've escalated the abuse and those children would've been eventually trafficked IMO

wth is wrong with people? I don't get it. were there always so many women doing this or is this a new phenomenom with the advent of internet-enabled technology?
 
I don't respond to threads very often, but I just couldn't help myself. I, too have a 3 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. I just want to punch this woman in her mouth.
How could anyone think about doing something like this to their own kid? You know her daughter had to be asking what she was doing. I know my daughter would. This is just icky and horrible and to think she did it for a man.
Please can't someone pass a law to sterilize these monsters that do these things to their own children?
 
I have had it with these people. Max 30 years, throw away the key! She'll get out when she's 53 & even that's being generous...
 
This female should never see the light of day. She also should be housed in General Population, forever.
 
Yeah, I agree, but she won't. Most we can hope for is the max of 30 years. Sadly.

Both. I think the amount of people who have been doing this is the same but because of the internet many of them can now find others who are equally interested.

Are they really only considering a "statutory" charge? This doesn't fit that at all.

Tammy Dickinson, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced that a Nixa, Mo., woman was sentenced in federal court today for sexually exploiting two children to produce child *advertiser censored*, which she distributed over the Internet.

Meagan Nell Bowman, 26, of Nixa, was sentenced by U.S. Chief District Judge Greg Kays to 20 years in federal prison without parole. The court also sentenced Bowman to supervised release for the rest of her life following incarceration.
