Hosni Mubarak stroke or clinically dead?

There are conflicting reports that Hosni Mubarak has died. Other reports say he had a stroke and deteriorating.

I liked this quote from the CNN article linked above:
"We should be skeptical," said Fouad Ajami, a senior fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution.

"There's a great Arab expression I like and it asks the following question: When you're told that someone is dead, you say, 'Is he dead and buried, or just dead?' I think we are in the middle of this kind of situation."
We are, I know not how, double in ourselves, so that what we believe we disbelieve, and cannot rid ourselves of what we condemn. (Michel de Montaigne)
