Seven years ago Martine Wright was travelling to work in central London, reading the local paper. Shortly after she read about London winning their bid to host the 2012 olympics a bomb blast ripped apart the carriage she travelled in. martine was one of the last victims brought out alive, spent ten days in a coma (her relatives could not find her for three days), and sadly lost both her legs. Martine refused to let this stop her, and as well as becoming a mother she took up sitting volley ball. yesterday it was announced she would represent Britain in sitting olympics at the 2012 olympics.
