Search efforts, led by bloodhounds and volunteer searchers, are concentrated in an area bordered by Remus, Shepherd, Leaton and Tomah roads.

An Aeromed helicopter searched the area in the early morning hours as groups of volunteers hit the streets, woods and fields calling the boy’s name.

But nearly 15 hours into the search, officials are reporting no significant leads as spotters, all of them wearing yellow vests and several perched under canopies and makeshift shelter from the sun, line the roads.

At least 50 people are gathered in the volunteer center and officials are saying no additional volunteers will be needed until at least 6 p.m.

From Sag Chip Indian Tribe:

Volunteers for six o'clock today should adhere to the following:

1. Wear appropriate shoes. You will be walking through fields.

2. Dress in layers, it may get cold out this evening

3. Bring a CHARGED cell phone

4. A flash light may prove to be extremely beneficial

If you are a Tribal employee, you must have supervisor approval.

****FYI if anyone is within distance to Mt. P and can help at 6pm

Any other advice from experience searchers? I know the Casino Food & Bev is providing water, etc so that's not an issue.

ETA: BBM cold? low tonight is supposed to be 59

Hoping they find him soon :-( I cannot find any other updates...

As of right now, they still want volunteer searches to show up at 6....

The Tribal Center is located at 7070 E, Broadway and the Senior's room is to the left as you enter. Please see the note I posted on how to dress and what you should wear. Please sign in when you get there and you will be briefed on what to do. Miigwetch.

Well, got there and they had enough people for tonight. But added my name and number to call back if needed thru the weekend. She said they were narrowing their search down, so I pray that means they find him tonight!

It was very difficult to drive down those country roads looking at all the fields and woods and ditches and not jump out of my car and just yell his name and look ugh very frustrating.

However, I will say this - they had casino shuttles ready to take the groups out, the place looked like a catered event...they take care of people that is for sure!

omgosh, Carnell is such a handsome little guy

it's been almost 24 hrs. right? hang in there Carnell, help is coming!
