It is awful gngr~snap! I hate those machines! My son was critically injured on a wave runner six years to the day that Kyle was injured. He tried to jump a wave that was too big and it feel backwards onto him and knocked him out. It took two of his buddies to rescue him, one was on another wave runner who held onto the stray machine to keep it from running over him and the other buddy swam out and pulled him to shore and they said he was purple. It truly is the call that no mother wants to receive. My son was lucky and survived, but it's not sounding too good for poor little Kyle. It's so sad.

My thoughts and prayers for a miracle are with Kyle and his family. :please:

Sorry for the personal story but Kyle's story brings flashbacks and it helps to talk about it. :(

Articles do not say much and little has been released but it is fairly safe to assume the pontoon was not chasing the jetski.

Based on what little info is out I find much fault with the jetski operator. He was way too close and probably trying to show off. MOO

Two Department of Natural Resource rangers witnessed the crash and helped rescue one child. A nearby boater rescued the second child. Officials said alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash.

Wow! DNR was sitting right there watching them when it happened! It seems like the driver of the jet ski knew they were there.... he was with the group and a friend of the family... In fact the man rented the boat and the jet ski...

Oh my goodness, WM, what a terrible experience for your son and for you. Prayers of gratitude that your son survivied that horrifying accident. Thank you for sharing your personal story. I think it IS good to talk about those things, even though it brings back memories of a very scary time. I'm glad you find some healing in that. AND it helps the rest of us make a connection to your situation and this very sad one we are learning of here. Bless you, your son, and this child who suffered this recent accident.

How very sad.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
