Priest who denied communion to lesbian at mother's
funeral leaves archdiocese after public outrage
(Daily Mail)
A priest who denied communion to a lesbian at her mother's funeral because she was 'living in sin' has left the Archdiocese of Washington after facing an earlier suspension for his actions.

The move comes just months after Reverend Marcel Guarnizo, who served at St. John Neumann parish in Gaithersburg, Maryland, was suspended for engaging in intimidating behavior.
---
Barbara Johnson, the woman who was denied the ritual bread and wine for being gay, had been asking the archdiocese to remove the priest for months.
---
When it came time for communion, Guarnizo ‘issued a strong admonition that only Catholics in a state of grace can receive communion,’ Johnson told msnbc.com.

Ahhhhh, "holier than thou." He needs a job more suitable to his views.

Maybe sheep herding on a mountain or summat.
