According to the police report, Lavergne stated that, around 3:00 p.m. on May 19, he was driving in an unfamiliar area and his GPS was not working. He said he pulled into a gas station to get directions and was attacked by an unidentified man wearing a football jersey and black hat covering most of his face. Lavergne said the man stole his wallet. He said he then drove around until he found a hospital.

JPSO= Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office

May 19, 2012

10:14 p.m. -- JPSO gets the call that a stabbing victim is in the ER at Ochsner Medical Center, 1516 Jefferson Hwy, Jefferson, LA
10:16 p.m. -- Call is dispatched to the responding officer, JP146
10:19 p.m. -- JP146 arrives at Ochsner
10:34 p.m. -- JP146 completes interview with the victim
10:51 p.m. -- JP146 advises the responding detective, JP184, that BSL is uncooperative

10:19-10:51 p.m. -- JP146 arrives at Ochsner. Security personnel tell him NOPD has just finished up with BSL. During questioning, BSL tells JP146 that NOPD interviewed him for two hours. That puts NOPD at Ochsner at approximately 8:15-8:30. BSL would have arrived at Ochsner no later than about 8:00 p.m., possibly earlier.

There is at least a three hour discrepancy between the JPSO incident report and what the media continues to report, which places BSL's arrival at the hospital at 11 p.m.
