I'm still very skeptical of Bucceroni's story. Chances are very good that Sandusky began abusing boys prior to 1998, but this gentleman's story keeps changing, now adding this Poly Prep coach to his story.

In the early stages of his tale, he didn't include Sandusky, even after the allegations came out. I am taking his version of things with a huge grain of salt.

He keeps adding people whom are deceased. It might be more believable if he also had information about people still alive and able to refute or confirm his accusations.

Centre County document site also has info on the Second Mile case:

    http://www.co.centre.pa.us/media/secondmile.asp

The last order dated 9/4/12 is about the disbursement of assets being stayed until all claims by victims of Sandusky are filed and while they are pending. This can be lifted only by the court.

This could be why TSM has abandoned its internal review:

The Second Mile charity, which Sandusky created and through which he met many of his victims, abandoned its internal review but has since said it is cooperating with requests for documents and interviews for federal investigators.

They probably don't want to pay for the investigation that ends up burying them, as PSU did with the Freeh Report. Either that, or the initial findings were so damaging they pulled the plug before it could get out.

We can only hope this makes Rakovich (sp) and his wife shake in their boots a bit! Somebody needs to get to the bottom of what they knew about what Sandusky was doing and if they were accomplices in allowing his grooming and abuse of the very children they were responsible for...How could they not know when he was counselor for the kids and she was in charge of funding his trips, conferences, etc.? Some people can be just deliberately blind when it is to their own advantage and they were making fantastic money off this organization....

Sandusky's charity seeks permission to sell Pa. HQ

    http://www.ldnews.com/state/ci_22749...eks-ok-sell-hq

STATE COLLEGE, Pa.—A children's charity founded by former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky wants to sell its headquarters. .........

Judge William Morgan on Friday scheduled a March 28 hearing on a request by The Second Mile's board of directors to sell the two-story building on a main thoroughfare in State College for $650,000. ...............

Lawyers for The Second Mile, in their court filing, said the building sale proceeds would pay for victims' claims, programs, insurance and legal fees. They said the charity can operate from rental facilities in Bellefonte, several miles away. .............

The filing said The Second Mile was given the property as a gift, for $1, in 1999 by its previous owner. An appraisal in late 2011 put the value at about $560,000.

A Pennsylvania court agrees to allow TSM to transfer $200,000 in assets (supposedly less than 5% of TSM's total assets) to Arrow Ministries of Texas:

And an article about the transfer:

I should no longer be surprised when interconnections between people and/ or groups involved in this tragedy are found. But I am taken aback by yet another one. In 7/2011, it was announced that Katherine Genovese, wife of 2nd Mile CEO Jack Raykowitz, was elected to the PSU Alumni Council. I wonder if she can be impeached....

These things, at least at time, tended to go to people active in alumni chapters. I don't think this is too unusual, but it is more of Central Pennsylvania Gothic horror story that we all are living. I've described it as, "Interconnections between individuals and institutions that looks metaphorically as incestuous as the Habsburg family tree."

I looked at the county demographics and at least 55% of the adult population of Centre County either:

    1. Goes to PSU (about 44,000).

    2. Is employed by PSU (about 23,000).

    3. Is an alumni of PSU, by the Alumni Association's definition (about 18,000, but I'm figuring about 2/3 are employed there).

    That does not include:

    A. Retirees that are not alumni.

    B. The children, siblings, spouses, or parents of 1, 2, and 3.

    C. People who work in businesses that primarily serve PSU or 1, 2, and 3.

Dated but a good summary of the 2nd Mile involvement in JS's cases; checked and this has not been posted before in this thread:

Let's Not Forget The Second Mile, The Other Big Organization That Did Nothing To Stop Jerry Sandusky

    9/25/12

    http://deadspin.com/5945960/lets-not...jerry-Sandusky

Raykovitz then asked Heim—a local real estate investor and someone who isn't shy about his loyalty to Penn State, the Paterno family and many of the key players in this scandal—if he should relay this to the full board.

"And I said no," Heim said.

"For five years, I worked out at the football facility, several times a week, and saw Jerry showering with children," he said. "I said I don't think it's relevant. It happens every day at the YMCA. I remember the conversation specifically because it seemed like a nonstarter because of what Penn State said went on."

On that advice, Raykovitz didn't tell the board. He did have a talk with Sandusky, and told him to be more careful.

He told him to be more careful. Jack Raykovitz is a licensed psychologist.

According to Ganim, The Second Mile took no action against Sandusky until November 2008, when a 15-year-old boy in Clinton County accused him of inappropriate touching.
    One comment below:

Child molesters? Child molesters!?!!? There are replacement refs out there blowing games and you want to talk about child molesters? 9/25/12 4:43pm
