We have a detailed, formal Terms of Service (TOS) posted separately, and that TOS is what you will be held to as a member here. It's long and detailed because it has to be in the world we live in, and you are expected to read it, understand it and abide by it. However, we can sum it up as follows:

2) Treat your fellow posters as the decent human beings they are;
3) Keep in mind that whatever you post will likely live on forever, so think before you press "Submit Reply".
4) It's a big world. People will disagree with you. You will disagree with them. This can be done with respect, and that's what we expect.

Hope it's busier here than the other thread. lol

YES!!!! Someone please say something?:please:

Just been watching that wonderful old movie on TV, with all the old regular British comedians - "The Plank" - in honour of Eric Sykes who died a couple of days ago at the age of 89.

But, back to the case - what's the bit about chooks, brothels, and all that stuff? I must have missed all that in my skimming to catch up....

Suggestion, If GBC had said that he and 'PashPop Incorporated' were out looking for Allison all night that would have explained all the car movements at roundabout, the bus shelter and phone pings but instead he said he was asleep all night and woke up to find her missing. What a twist of fate that could have been? He thought he was invincible & smarter than most, but ha they gotcha. Yes greed is a terrible thing <modsnip>

That may explain the extramarital activities too in the sense he's been trying to recoup the affection and attention he missed.

Exactly. Requires no conscience :)

At last!!! So... were brothels mentioned? I was wondering, but thought I might have missed something.

Those old British movies can be funny.

:)

Sorry could quote the poster who wrote the above.

Anyway. They often treat women coldly and in a controlling manner. Most aren't interested in re-couping affection. They're often more interested control and punishment when they become violent. Their comfort lies only in themselves.

FFS I get it now re: **oth**. a little bit slow but :imok:

I think we both missed it - I'm going to have to trawl back through the old thread later to see what it was all about.... Time for beauty sleep - crack o'dawn start tomorrow.

People are just means to an end for them right?

I'm not saying this is fact, it's just MO... maybe GBC wasn't capable of what we know as 'love'. Maybe he couldn't get that close feeling because he didn't have it in him. This would also explain the affairs and the non caring attiude he displayed after she was missing and even after her body was found.
As we all know there are people like this, they sort of just don't 'get it'.
Maybe it's heriditary. :)

Don't bother looking for the 'brothel' talk... I think that was just me... I think I misunderstood someone's post. :blushing: Naughty me!!

I've been reading with great fascination since early threads but have missed a few pages here and there so apologies if going over old ground. Have we heard anything about clothes GBC was wearing the night/morning of? Surely if blood was found in the car, there might also be blood on his clothes or shoes? He was pretty sure of what Allson was wearing when she "went missing" so can only assume he also knew exactly what he was wearing hat night? MOO
