This is all so terribly sad and tragic, and for nothing -for a mad senseless act. My heart goes out to the victims' loved ones.

This link has lots of photos of family members and a pic of the youngest victim, Veronica Moser and the girl who would have been a sportscaster Jessica Ghawi as well as mourners. You'll have to scroll down because it goes throught the court deal this morning and other stuff. It also shows a pic of Verionica's father in sun glasses going into the courtroom. He looks very distraught, I don't think I could have gone before him to see that monster's face if that happened to me.

Check this out. This woman was shot through the head, and it turns out she had a brain defect, a void in her brain which the buckshot pellet travelled through. She is already talking, and is expected to fully recover.

Here is a witness audio account by a man who was shot by all three guns being interviewed not longer after his surgery and he said he would like to talk to the shooter and pray with him. He also mentions that he witnessed one man who saved a woman by shielding her and let himself get killed. Not sure of that man's name.

I am astounded by what was taken that night. It is incomprehensible.

There are just no words. Tears barely cover it!

    Victim's Families Plan Goodbyes

Families of theater shooting victims plan goodbyes
By P. SOLOMON BANDA and NICHOLAS RICCARDI, AP
    33 minutes ago

CENTENNIAL, Colo. With their anger and tears stirred by the sight of James Holmes in a courtroom with red hair and glassy eyes, the families of those killed in the Colorado theater massacre now must go home to plan their final goodbyes.

Tom Teves' stare bore into Holmes as the 24-year-old former graduate student sat as though in a daze during his court appearance Monday. Teves' son was one of the 12 people Holmes is accused of killing after Alex Teves dove to protect his girlfriend in the shooting early Friday.

Another 58 were wounded, including seven critically, when a gunman opened fire at a midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" in nearby Aurora...

AJ Boik being silly, dancing at his high school. Reminds me of my brothers in law. Makes my heart hurt. Such a joyful kid!

    18 year old AJ Boik:

Alexander J. Boik was an 18-year-old recent high school graduate and future student at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. Following his death in the Aurora, Colo. "Dark Knight Rises" massacre, teens who knew him set up a Facebook page to commemorate his life.
