From your link:
The procedure can result in toxic fumes and explosions, leave behind a dangerous trail of chemicals, and render the room uninhabitable.
Joe Sullivan, chief of the Homeland Security unit, said a 26-year-old Philadelphia-area man who rented the room Friday night was in custody and would probably be charged. The narcotics unit is seeking a second suspect, he said.........
Had authorities not found out about the lab and the men conducted their business without detection, the chemical residues would have endangered any subsequent guests, especially children, according to Sullivan......
Great that they found this...very dangerous....

$70,000 worth of meth was confiscated out of that room. That would be distribution, but with meth heck they may have cooked up for themselves for the night.
Matthew Phillip Sinson of Philadelphia has been arrested and the guy seen running on surrveilance with him is being sought.
They were having some sort of firefighter's convention. This chowder head could have blew up a bunch of firefighters, and then some.

Surprise he's got a record. He should have stayed in Florida.
Ummmm looking at this guy's FB and on July 6th he posted a "That s*cks photo" which is of a fire like big time outside his condo window. That is if he lives at the addy they gave in the news. Someone possibly a mom or grandmom asks what the he** blew up?
Is that irony or what? He lives real close to the hotel. He also claims to own an office near Rittenhouse Square and somewhere on line he says he went to Drexel. Highly doubting all that and he should have taken Chemistry 101 before making meth in a CC hotel.

I don't understand how he got those gallon buckets of chemicals in there.
I went on a vacation earlier this summer and stayed at mostly Hampton styled hotels. You have to walk by the check in counter and go up elevators. Someone was NOT doing their due diligence! OBVIOUSLY!!!

No pun intended this just blows my mind. That guy basically lives close by in CC. It's not a usual occurance in our parts obviously. He could have went up to Bensalem or Bristol or Levittown is what I'd think.
Maybe this has something to do with it.
When I see huge busts like that I always figure something has to give. Somebody has to pick up the slack and we get this brilliant numbskull.
