Mr. Batts is under the jurisdiction of the Spokane County ME's office in Washington State.

Claimus case number 321

A date of birth of March 10, 1928 is given, but claimus also states dob is unknown. Not date of death or date found is given.
 
I found a James R. Batts with a birthdate of April 10, 1928 who died Sept. 14, 2007 in Spokane, Washington....

Looking at his claimus information I see now that the ME's case number is
07-2226. Likely the first digit is the year of death. So, this is likely him.

The month of birth is off however. I wonder if it got entered incorrectly in claimus.org? And also the middle initial. We need to confirm we are on the right track, I think.

do you want to verify with the claimus case manager or should I do it?

I’m not really sure if it is the same gentleman or not. First, I must admitted the correct birthdate was 4/10/12, which I have now corrected in the data base, but the date of death I have for this gentleman is 8/30/07 at Valley Hospital Medical Hospital. He had been a resident of Sullivan Park Care Center located in the Spokane Valley for the last 5 years of his life. He had several alias’ and several social security numbers associated with his name. It was thought at the time of his death, he possibly had an ex-wife and several estranged children still living in the south – Chicago maybe. Please let me know if you come up with anything else.

he is reported as having ties to both the south chicago area and the south. He used several alias and given various ssn and dob's.
 
Possibly him: DOB is off, but we know he used different SS#s
