Here is link to a family tree for Mr. Box. It looks like it was made by his great great granddaughter. It lists a living spouse and child (private). It also list his death.

it is clear mr box's family knows he is deceased.

I sent an email to the owner of the tree to contact the case manager. I think we can call this one solved.

As of Nov 6, 2012, Mr. Box is still in the UCP database of NamUs. Did you ever hear back from the case owner that contact was made?
