GOLDSBY — A missing man's Jeep was found Saturday at an Oklahoma City apartment complex, and investigators are searching for a person of interest in the disappearance of Bill Dwayne Shipley.

SUV of missing Goldsby man found in Oklahoma City

The McClain County Sheriff's office said Monday the sport utility vehicle belonging to 47-year-old Bill Shipley was found in south Oklahoma City. Sheriff's Lt. Dan Huff says a ladder and other items were missing from the paint contractor's vehicle.

“The nature of Shipley’s job delayed the missing person report,” McClain County Sheriff Detective Lt. Dan Huff said.
Shipley is an out-of-state contract painter and it is not uncommon for his relatives not to hear from him.

I live in Oklahoma. I just saw a missing persons flyer for Bill in my feed store that shows close ups of the surveillance photos of the person of interest. He looks like a farmer type with older style bib overalls and a dirty John Deere ball cap, kind of a big guy, very country looking, looked to be in his mid or later 60's. The flyer said this man was observed in store videos using Bill Shipley's credit cards. Very strange. The video photos were very clear. I'm surprised no one recognized him. It's probably a matter of time.
