ATTENTION WEBSLEUTHS MEMBERS! WE NEED YOUR HELP!​




Websleuths has been asked by KlaasKids to help with food and water for the searchers in the Linnea Lomax case. The search is this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Before we start ordering food for the searchers I need help with some information.

The address of the search center is: 244O GLENDALE LANE SACRAMENTO CALIF.

Can someone from the area please give me a list of restaurants/fast food places that deliver. I have no idea where this is or what is around the area.

Please post the list of restaurants/fast-food places and their phone numbers on this thread.

Later I will be asking for donations and will tell you what you can exactly do to help but for now I need to know where I can call to get food needed.

Here is the info on the search itself:




KLAASKIDS SEARCH TEAM WILL START THE SEARCH FRIDAY SEPT 7TH AND CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY SEPT. 9TH.

TIMES: VOLUNTEERS SHOULD CHECK IN BETWEEN 7:00 AM AND 10:00 AM ON ALL THREE DAYS. THE SEARCH WILL START AT 8:00 AM EVERY MORNING.

LOCATION: THE LINNEA LOMAX SEARCH CENTER IS LOCATED AT 244O GLENDALE LANE SACRAMENTO CALIF.

WHAT TO BRING: SEARCHERS NEED TO BE 18 OR OLDER WITH PROPER PHOTO I.D. DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR THE WEATHER. BRING SNACKS AND WATER WITH THEM IF POSSIBLE.

I just had to laugh at Pizza having its own special map. You guys are awesome!
 
I have to go pick up nurse kid from football.... b back in an hour or so... (we live in a remote location... :eek: )
 
Ok here is what I am going to do. I'll call around and see which ones will deliver and such. Then I'll talk to Brad Dennis and see what he thinks we need.

Then I'll post here suggestions on who to call and what to order.

PLEASE EVERYONE KEEP CHECKING BACK ON THIS THREAD TO SEE WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.

The address of the search center is 2440 Glendale Lane.

PMLsmom thank you for that great link. Made it easy.

The only restaurant that isn't a pizza place that delivers is Chinese but they don't deliver to Glendale lane.

We'll have to put in orders and have volunteers pick up.

Stand by. Need to talk to Brad then I will come back with instructions.
 
Well I feel awful. Woke brad up from a deep sleep. I thought He was in Calif already but alas he was not.

Here is the deal. Tomorrow early evening (or a bit before) we will be asking you to call in pizza orders for Friday's search. We will go with pizza for Friday since it is easy.

Friday we will work on Sat and Sun.
