Aurora Police are asking for help in locating a 23-year-old woman who may have been kidnapped early Sunday.

The woman, Bertha Garcia, was last seen with a friend at about 12:15 a.m. in the 1900 block of Paris Street when she walked her friend to his car and the friend drove away.

He tells police that as he was leaving, he saw a Hispanic man approach Garcia before she got back in her house. Garcia has not been seen since.

AURORA, Colo. -- The body of a woman was found Monday afternoon in Aurora, near a home where a woman was reportedly kidnapped Sunday morning, according to police department spokesman Frank Fania.

I wonder if there really was a ' hispanic man' that the friend saw when he drove away. First of all, why would you drive away if you saw your female friend alone at 1 am with a
random guy approaching her? Wouldn't you drive back to her and see that she made it inside safely?

Woman's Ex-Boyfriend Wanted To Get Back Together, Friends Say

Authorities aren't releasing the woman's name yet, but friends say it's Bertha Garcia, 23, who was reported missing early Sunday morning.

Police are searching for Garcia's ex-boyfriend, 32-year-old German Medina, but have yet to issue an arrest warrant.

Murder charges filed in death of Aurora woman Bertha Garcia

First-degree murder charges have been filed against a man investigators believe killed a woman whose body was found near her home in Aurora on Monday.

German Medina, 33, has been charged in the death of 23-year-old Bertha Garcia, the 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office announced Thursday. He is at large and is being sought by police.
