Missing woman found alive in deep freezer (Tulsa World)
---
First responders were called about 10:30 a.m. to an apartment where a woman was found by family members inside a chest-type deep freezer.
---
Tulsa police say the incident doesn’t appear to be suspicious.
---
The woman, identified by her son as 59-year-old Theresa Christian, was transported to St. John Medical Center with “severe freezing-type injuries” to her legs.

Family members reported the woman missing Saturday.
---
Police believe the woman may have had a reaction to medication, which could have affected her cognitive abilities, and sought shelter in the freezer during last week’s storms.

Oh my, thank goodness the lid was open!

The first thing I thought of was hot flashes and I see someone in the comments mentioned the same.

I never actually though about climbing in the freezer though! Hmmm......

The storm mentioned was last Friday; if as police speculate that is when she climbed into the freezer, she was in there for around five days.

Thank goodness this guy didn't find his mom frozen dead in the freezer!

Actually, I think it's the cops fault. When they got into the house they drew their guns and commanded her to "freeze".

I know, I know, that was horrible. :slap:

How did she not die sitting in a freezer for five days?
