I found SSDI and CDI listings that list death dates two days apart, but birth dates one month and one year apart. Riverside, CA is half an hour away from Montclair, CA (where Mr. Farthing is listed as having passed away) so I am wondering if these are indeed the same person?

There is an Ancestry tree for the man who died in Riverside, CA. Acc. to it, he was born in NC. How he got his SS # in IL is not clear. They know he is deceased. I'm not sure this is the Unclaimed, however.

The whole SSN thing could be where his family lived when they registered his birth. I was born in VA but my SSN is from PA, where my family lived probably 2-3 months after I was born.
