Detectives in Chicago are seeking the public’s help in locating a 12-year-old girl who has been missing since July.

Taylor Lockhart, also known as “Tay Tay,” was last seen leaving a home on the city's South Side, near Midway Airport, and last made contact with her family on July 31, according to the Chicago Police Department.

Lockhart may also have been spotted in several blocks south of where witnesses reported seeing her last police said. At the time, she was wearing a pink and yellow shirt, black yoga pants and white, purple and back Jordan gym shoes, police said. She also wore her hair in a ponytail.

Looks like Taylor may have been found and then gone missing again.

Missing was last seen on the 6300 block of Hermitage. She was last seen wearing a brown coat with fur on the hood, a cream colored shirt, dark blue jeans and blue Air Jordan gym shoes. Anyone with information should contact Area South detectives at 312-747-8274.

According to this, she was last seen March 7 and is now 13yo.

I'm confused. Taylor was originally seen on 73rd and Damen in 2012? Then on 63rd and Hermitage in March? That's about 1 1/2 miles from each other and very possible. Throw 54th and Winchester in and she's in a general area that's accessible by several bus routes. I wouldn't say any of these addresses are near Midway airport. Four miles is a huge difference in Chicago. The Englewood and Austin neighborhoods are miles and world's apart. Englewood is south. Austin is the western edge of the city.
