Police say 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway went missing around 107th Avenue and Moore Street Friday afternoon.

She is 4-feet-8-inches tall with blond hair. She is wearing purple glasses and a black coat and boots. Police have not yet released a photo.

Westminster police sent out an emergency text alert advising residents to be on the lookout. An Amber Alert has not been issued.

they have a picture up now of the school.. (I think it is anyhow... if you see the map the school is on one of the roads they mentioned)

it is also starting to snow there...

also: check comments

For some reason, nurse, I am only getting the photo of the cop car. Maybe that is the school near the car? But I don't see an article with comments.

Hard to believe we don't have the child's photo yet.

Posted the link to my FB page, I live in CO and have friends in that area. Tagged the friends. Gotta find this girl asap!!!

Snow there already and freezing temperatures? I sure hope the girl is somewhere safe and warm. And I hope she wasn't kidnapped.

I'm in Thornton, just down the road from Westminster. It is very cold and we are suppose to get rain and snow. Hoping and praying they find Jessica quickly.

Is there still no picture? Are we supposed to draw one?

I can't stay up much longer, been in the hospital all aft and eve with my dear sweet mom in love(law). Her days are numbered, but she raised 8 yes 8 boys on her own with pennies to spare.

I go to sleep with a heavy heart for the searches today and everyday. May Peace find the families whose hearts are breaking missing their loved ones.

There appears now to be a picture. Can I post it?
