The manslaughter thing is pretty weak, at first I thought what state was this in? Then realized it was Canada.

I know this guy wasn't using the internet but I would say it probably happens (or at least their are serious attempts) online more than one would think. I have come across this sort of thing in my internet travels.
 
^ Me too. I have never met so many sociopaths as I have on the internet. It scares me, it really does, that there's so many out there. I had no idea...

This case made me think of Charles Manson, for some reason. I guess because he didn't actually kill anybody himself -- he just incited others to kill for him, so he's in prison (hopefully forever). So I wonder if manipulating people to kill themselves is grounds for a murder charge or something like it?

I hope they find a way to take this creep down, before he harms anybody else.

Yeah, there are quite a few, no doubt. I wouldn't be concerned about it though, the vast majority do NOT want to do anything to end up in prison so most are relatively harmless.

Course if you have kids on the internet that is another matter, then again many of the worst online sociopaths are still kids.
