Here is the thread on RSOs.

You can link to RSOs in the area. You cannot sleuth them other than what is listed on this thread. If you have a question about a particular case and a particular RSO and what can and cannot be posted in depth you can post your question for administration on this thread.

((please note: questioning of what can and cannot be posted and moderation questions should not be placed on the general discussion thread. I hope that helps. If anyone has a further question please pm a moderator or administrator.))

New Thread - everyone, please take a minute to review the rules and etiquitte right here: The Rules - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

REMEMBER: We don't sleuth or disparage or insinuate about family UNLESS LE or MSM give us reason to. If that happens, the mods will let you know.

ALSO - we don't post random pics of people on facebook. We DO NOT involve the innocent in these horrific cases.

Sometimes you might stumble across something that you think is pertinent, but is against TOS to post. If that happens, the best course of action is to make a note of it and keep it UNDER YOUR HAT. Don't post here. Wait to see if the parametersof the case change so that the info does become important. If in doubt, contact a Mod for help.

    Thanks,

    Salem

    Social Networks

Regarding Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and other social networking or blog websites: Links may be used to direct posters to view something on a social networking page. But postings on social networking sites are not considered fact; they are rumor. Copying and pasting, or taking screen caps, directly from these pages is not allowed. Paraphrasing is okay. (Exception: If the Twitter or Facebook post belongs to a verified news station, it may be copied. But a link should still be provided.)

Also, social networking pages may only be linked if they are directly related to a case, i.e. the victim or suspect. We don't want to post to someone's mother, brother, employer, milkman, or postal carrier just because they know the main player. We also NEVER link to minor's pages (unless they are the victim). And be sure that the page actually belongs to the person being discussed. Do not link to someone if you are not 100% sure it is the correct person. And if a social networking is set to private and you get in the back way, you may not post what you find. Private means private!

Westminster Police have definitively made a connection between the Ketner lake incident and the Jessica Ridgeway murder. We cannot go into details about the connection to preserve the integrity of the case.

We can also say that there were receipts collected during the investigation. We can say that they were NOT found at Patridge Park and are not related to the Jessica Ridgeway investigation. Investigators were at King Soopers, however they were following up on several other tips.

We want to assure the public that their safety is our number one priority! If there is information which directly relates to public safety, we will get that information out to you through our social media sites and the news stations. Please understand that we are working diligently to bring this predator to justice, and sometimes information will not be released to protect the integrity of the investigation and the future prosecution. Again, our entire communities safety is our number one priority.

Good grief....what is happening to our world?

LE believes the body found at a recycling center is the body of missing 12-year old, Autumn Pasquale of NJ.

I don't know if statistics bear it out, but it certainly seems that our children are being taken from us at alarming rates....

Just for the record, I did not say I thought a Mexican drug cartel was involved in Jessica's death.

I said I found a case with similarities to Jessica's where an AMERICAN girl was killed by an AMERICAN drug and sex trafficking gang IN AMERICA. Oklahoma, to be precise, and because of the similarities I wondered whether all members of that AMERICAN gang were accounted for, or whether some of them might have moved to Colorado.
Opinions expressed are strictly my own (who else would they belong to???)

Isn't it the worst when you go to reply to a post and you realize you can't? This is from last topic. Confusion said:

I think it would be extremely unhealthy to force a child to stay indoors all of the time, especially alone if none of the kids on the block are allowed to leave their houses either. I see no reason for making parents who have lost a child to a sadistic criminal to feel guilt on top of the loss. MOO
The point of my original post was that "Denver Metro in Fear" is a sensationalistic headline put out by the media. Also, I don't see how I am making parents who have lost a child to a murderer feel guilt. It was not a criticism of any parent; it's of the media.

Off Topic _ TN Abduction April 2012

An example of the FBI's inclusion of the most valuable resource in missing/murdered person investigations: 'The American Public'..

Adam Mayes was on the FBI's Top 10 Most Wanted list for the murders of 31-year-old Jo Ann Bain and her 14-year-old daughter Adrienne, and the kidnapping of 12-year-old Alexandria and 8-year-old Kyliyah Bain on April 27, 2012 in Whiteville, TN.

Raw Video Of FBI Press Conference May 9, 2012 – (Hardeman County, TN) The FBI has added Adam Mayes to its Ten Most List

Bain Sisters Rescued due to an aware Citizen's Tip- Guntown, MS

FBI News Conference in Guntown, MS May 11, 2012 (VIDEO)

Bain Sisters Found Alive, Adam Mayes Commits Suicide (VIDEO)

The multi-agency team credits the numerous tips for the ultimate rescue of Alexandria and Kyliyah Bain. It is likely that someone will qualify for the $171,000 reward.

Last thread, last page someone asked "why did they say light skinned instead of white?"

IMO because white (even though it is a color) describes a RACE, while light skinned describes a SHADE OF SKIN. it casts a wider net.

I am passing the torch about the skin color debate now.

We could use some good news today!
