A Northampton County man has been missing since Oct. 18. Shawn Corneilus Alston, 39, of Garysburg, N.C. was last seen at a friend's home, which is within walking distance of his home.

GARYSBURG Lola Robinson said her oldest child was spoiled, but special.

Robinson has not seen that child in over a year now, and still does not know what happened to him or whether hes alive or dead.

Lola Robinson has a dream where one of the people she believes responsible for her son's disappearance comes to her.

“He asks me to go to the police station with him and turn himself in and let me know what happened,” the mother of Shawn Alston said Wednesday.

It is one of those dreams so real she wakes up disappointed, still looking for answers as the third anniversary of his disappearance arrives Sunday.

He never arrived at his residence and has not been seen or heard from since. He was last seen wearing a BLACK shirt and KHAKI cargo pants.
