Today at noon (EST) on Lifetime Movie Network:

    Capture/Green River Killer

    2008

A Seattle-area detective (Tom Cavanagh) doggedly pursues a serial killer who targets prostitutes and dumps their bodies in the Green River. Based on the actual case, which spanned two decades. Amy Davidson, Sharon Lawrence.

Over nearly 20 years, Det. Dave Reichert of the King's County Sheriff's Department investigated a series of brutal murders by a serial killer who became known as the Green River Killer after the location where some of his early victims were found. All the victims were women involved in prostitution. The police used the tools available at the time including an FBI profiler. They even interviewed serial killer Ted Bundy who was on death row at the time and offered his insight into the killer. Several men came under suspicion and were interviewed at length and at one point, Reichert was convinced he knew the identity of the killer. It was not until DNA matching came into being that they had the evidence to proceed. The killer eventually admitted to killing 71 women.

December 3rd, 1957, Tuesday. When I came home at 7:30 I was informed that Maria was kidnapped. It didn't really hit me until we found her doll by the garage. The whole town formed a searching party which continued throughout the whole night...

    Easter Sunday

Fab 5: The Texas Cheerleader Scandal Lifetime, 1:00PM (EDT)

A plucky young teacher (Jenna Dewan) challenges the school's de facto hierarchy of five spoiled, wealthy cheerleaders who don't play by any rules but their own. Based on a true story.

She Made Them Do It LMN, 4:00PM (EDT)

The true story of Sarah Jo Pender (Jenna Dewan) who was convicted in the double murder of her roommates, but then escaped from prison and became one of America's most-wanted felons.

I like both of these made-for-TV flicks that star Jenna Dewan who is very good in both roles. Happy Easter!
