This is truly a case of "Given nothing, do everything."

Any news with this? Annoying that there's DNA but no dentals for David Robinson - dentals but no DNA for UID.

Unfortunately Robinson's NamUs has been updated to say that there are not in fact xrays available - they dould not be located. :(

Dennis Morrison missing from OK since 1999 - Morrison has part of his facial bones missing due to a healed gunshot wound. His right jaw area is wired together and he still has shotgun pellets in his head. There is so little information on the UID or the amount/condition of the remains that it's hard to know if this could be a possible match.

Besides all of us....it seems nobody really cares. No LE contacts in the Namus file at all. WHAT!!!

Bodies Pile Up as Detroit Morgue Plans Outsourcing to Cut Costs
Dr. Carl Schmidt, Wayne County chief medical examiner, sits for a portrait at his office in Detroit, Michigan, U.S., on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011. The bodies line up in the morning at Wayne County's morgue in Detroit, each awaiting a cold steel table and an autopsy by one of five pathologists, three fewer than the county could afford a year ago. This is really crazy and disrespectful.

David sounds almost like a certainty!

Here is a follow-up (albeit still from 6 years ago!) from on LanadelNay @ Reddit who submitted this potential match:
I emailed the case manager at the time (D/Sgt. Sarah Krebs) to inquire about the cases. She was kind and replied very promptly, saying that these two have been associated in the past, but the doe needs to be exhumed to obtain a DNA sample. He is on the list once funding is secured.
There are still 0 exclusions on NamUs so I guess it is a waiting game. Very unfortunate.

Some alternative possibilities if, somehow, this Doe is not David:

Andreas Marts - Missing from Kansas July 2010. Has Parry-Romberg syndrome which causes hemifacial atrophy; as per his NamUs profile “there may be extensive or abnormal hardware or wiring on the … jaw”. No mention of heart surgery and Romberg syndrome is not associated with any heart conditions. Regarding the lack of clothes, Marts has Schizophrenia and was “agitated and delusional” upon his disappearance. If this behaviour was an expression of catatonia, it could explain the lack of clothes. The case notes do seem to imply that it is unlikely Marts travelled out of Kansas, though.

Calvin Earl Conerly - Missing from Texas in 1994. Has fixed retaining bars on his left and right mandible to repair fractured jaw / scars on abdomen (the latter of which is unrelated to this Doe unless someone was a bit unsure about anatomy, haha!)
