She left that child there, according to one article I read, from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm she never once cecked on this poor child.

How old is this mother? I read the articles, must have blanked the age, or else they didn't show it? I know the poor baby was only 4. Horrible. But sad too if this mom is as young as she looks.
How could anyone not check on any 4 year old in all that time? Doesn't even need to be a special needs child! Horrible"Bid me run and I will strive with things impossible."

From April 2013:
Alexandra Schurr, 21, was sentenced Tuesday morning after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter. Police say her daughter, Amber Mosier, who had cerebral palsy, died in October after being left alone for more than 17 hours. A medical examiner says Mosier suffocated.
Tuesday a judge ordered the mother of two to serve 120 days of ‘shock time’ in prison– a corrections rehabilitation program. After that the judge will grant or deny probation.. If probation is denied she’ll serve 6 years in prison...
Scroggins said Mosier had cerebral palsy and was on a feeding machine. He said Schurr heard her daughter choking but did nothing.
