A two year old and a four year old were forced by their drug addicted parents to stand in scalding hot water in the tub so long they had to be treated at the hospital.

Grandparents lived at the same addy and admitted to hearing the children scream initially.

Police found 100 Vicodin tablets and other illegal drugs in the house.

    Mother found not guilty

    March 2013:

WYANDOTTE — The mother of two young children who suffered scalded feet after standing in steaming hot water on Nov. 7 has been acquitted of two counts of second-degree child abuse.

During a March 1 bench trial, Wayne County Circuit Judge Richard Skutt found Erica Anne Bohn, 25, not guilty of the charges...

Bohn told police she was getting the children clothes out of a closet when she heard them screaming. When an officer asked why she didn’t check on the children after hearing this, she reportedly said she thought her 2-year-old son “might have bumped his head on something.”

He will serve his time at the Wayne County Jail, with credit given for the 84 days he had already served before sentencing. He also was ordered to pay court costs totaling $1,266, perform 150 hours of community service and serve three years probation.
