A child *advertiser censored* prosecution against a west Boynton Beach man will be coming to an end because the defendant recently died.

Frank Anthony Crisci, 50, a retired New York firefighter who had gained notoriety in South Florida with an elaborate Halloween haunted house display, was due to appear in court Tuesday for a plea hearing.

But instead his attorney told Circuit Judge John Kastrenakes that Crisci has passed away.
