Another parent left the car running with the child inside.
    Just my opinion

I hope whoever stole the car would at least drop the child off at a hospital or church. Keep the damn car, give the child back! IMO.

They normally do leave the child somewhere, if they are interested in a car and don't want kidnapping charges. Likely not a hospital or a church, though. They don't want to be seen.

I hope the convenience store had camera's out front.

Just heard the Amber Alert over local emergency broadcast...My hinky meter is up already. I used to live in that area, it is VERY high crime. In fact I was mugged not far from the convenience store where the abduction is said to have taken place. No one in their right mind would leave a car (esp. a Caddy!) with keys in the ignition for 2 seconds, let alone one with their child in the back seat.

Either this parent is extremely street-stupid, or there is more to the story.

Ok, maybe I"ve been doing this to long but now my Hinky meter is running. BOTH parents went into the store? Why? The picture they are showing on the news report was taken YESTERDAY, in the car?? What are the freaking chances. IMO. Sorry, very ticked.

Video shows parents talking to police, not a good close up though

The car has been found as of 6:00 p.m. but Trinidad is still missing.

According to the article, he was with BOTH parents....why were both parents going inside the convenience store, leaving little Louis in the car? Why wouldn't one of them stay in the car with him while the other went inside?

Although it is unclear from the article if they even made it inside the convenience store....maybe they were going around the car to get Louis out of his car seat? But if so, why leave the keys in the ignition? This is making no sense to me...
