UK - Robert Davies, 58, Llandudno, Wales, 9 Dec 2012

    Llandudno missing man

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 58-year-old man who has not been seen since Sunday.

Robert Davies left Vaughan Lodge Residential Home on Vaughan Street in Llandudno at 4.30pm on Sunday and has not returned since.

Robert, who is described as a ‘bit of a loner’ and a heavy smoker, needs regular medication.

When he left the home he was wearing a check shirt (colour unknown), black trousers and a green coat, which comes to above his knees.

He is originally from Porthmadog, and has been known to visit the town on occasions.

PC Laura Mulvaney said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Robert as his disappearance is completely out of character.”

Anyone who may have seen Robert in the last couple of days or who may know of his whereabouts is asked to contact Llandudno Police Station on 101.

It says he was last seen on Sunday. I assume, that is when North Wales Police put out an appeal.

His body was found at Newborough beach on the south west of Anglesey.

Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and his family and the North West Wales coroner has been informed.
