"Authorities are working to identify human remains that were found near the Pittsburg County and Haskell County line.

Pittsburg County Undersheriff Richard Bedford says the remains were found Dec. 13 on a ranch north of Quinton. Pittsburg County Investigator Tommy Lyons says they haven't identified the remains but that they belong to a male.

Lyons tells the McAlester News-Capital that the remains had been there about one to two years."

From Quinton to 35.006097 -95.200653 is 21 miles, so a bit farther as the remains were discovered north of Quinton.

Bobby Jamison was exceedingly tall and would not have been this UID which was about 5'8".

This gentleman was suffering from Alzheimer's and threatened to hide in the woods if his family ever tried to put him in a nursing home. He mentioned Wister, Ok which is not too far from where the UID was found.
