A ten year old girl from Las Vegas has been missing since Friday. Police are looking for Jade Morris. Morris was last seen with Brenda Stokes. Stokes is a family friend.

Morris' mother says Stokes picked Jade up Friday, to take her shopping. When they didn't return that night, she called police.

Morris' mother learned police arrested Stokes, Friday night.

Yeah, this one is odd. The conditions aren't the best for a suitable outcome for this poor little girl. And this close to Christmas no less. Sad indeed.

A contrarian scenario, however unlikely, would be that this lady is telling the truth and never picked her up. That would obviously lead to more questions needing asked. However, the fact that she allegedly stabbed a coworker only hours later indicates that she was not in a stable frame of mind at that time, and this could be due to something that occurred earlier in the day. I hope not, for this little girl's sake. I hope they find her safe and sound in time for Santa.

Same here. I have read about the casino attack on many different news sites but not a single one mentioned a missing child. WTH? It is horrible that a woman had her face cut but damn that pales in comparison to a missing little girl last seen with the attacker. Priorities people, priorities!!

According to the video from KTNV Jade was due home at 9pm. At 9:15pm her mom started calling Stokes, but got no answer. Jade's mom went to the police station the next morning.
