    First song recorded in space - and on Christmas to boot!

    Canadian astronaut, Commander Chris Hadfield, recorded an original song in space, at the international space station. What a "heavenly" song for Christmas -- Jewel in the Night.

    Any man's death diminishes me,
    Because I am involved in mankind,
    Therefore, send not to know, for whom the bell tolls;
    It tolls for thee.
    ~John Dunne

    So bright, jewel in the night,

    there lies the cradle we knew.

    The home of, all that we love,

    and all of our memories too.

    It shall be our way, to wander away,

    And take with us all that we know.

    And never cease, this message of Peace,

    From Bethlehem so long ago.

    "The further we (as the human race) grow away from the natural world, the quieter the natural world becomes and the more pathological we become as a culture."........Bernie Krause

    The citizens of the United States of America have a right to applaud themselves for having given to mankind examples of an enlarged and liberal policyŚa policy worthy of imitation......which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance.......George Washington
