    MO - Wanda Boxley, 82, Laclede, 16 November 2012

Family Of Missing Great-Grandmother Grows Weary (fox4kc.com)
LINN COUNTY, Mo. – All they wanted for Christmas was to see, hug and celebrate with their loved one, 82-year-old Wanda Boxley, of Laclede, Mo.
    ---
“It just doesn’t feel like Christmas this year. I miss her very much, ”
Bingham told FOX 4′s Robert Townsend during an interview at his mother’s home Tuesday.

Bingham last saw his mother on the afternoon of Nov. 16. He says his Mom left her home in Laclede, drove about five miles to the Country Line convenience store on West Helm Road in Brookfield and bought a lottery ticket and some gas.

A cashier saw Boxley get back in her light yellow, 1991 Mercury Marquie alone and drive away.

“I really think somebody got in the car with her. I pray that she’ll come home safe, ” says Donald Bingham.
    ---
Boxley’s 1991 Mercury Marquis has Missouri license plates: WF7-JOJ.

Leads have run dry for a northern Missouri woman with ties to the Springfield area who went missing in mid-November.

Boxley’s family fears she may have been carjacked. Boxley had land in the Springfield area, said Linn County Chief Deputy Sheriff Butch Eskew. He said Friday the sheriff’s office has exhausted leads to follow.

So awful! I hope they are able to generate more leads and find this woman, her family needs her and needs answers.

Families of Missing Women Find Comfort in Common Heartache

There's no crime scene or trail of evidence to follow for two northwest Missouri families, each searching for a missing loved one.

But, both families are finding comfort in each other as they work together to find clues in their cases and hopefully help others in the same position.

    [snip]

She's been communicating with a Linn County family searching for their loved one, Wanda Jean Boxley.

The 82-year-old disappeared without a trace around Thanksgiving.

    [snip]

Authorities in both cases are still investigating, but they have not turned up any solid clues that would lead them closer to finding Boxley or Thompson.

So sad She was found just 13 miles from the convenience store where she was last seen and 20 miles from her hometown.

It's been heartbreaking following the family's facebook page for their Mamaw, they seem like a wonderful family, very much a strong, loving, kind group... May they give their sweet loved one a proper tribute and resting place...

And if someone is responsible for this act, let their days be numbered...

Missing Woman's Family Confident Body Found in a Field is Wanda Jean Boxley

"Maybe the trail had lead over a levy and then down into a field and from there she had gotten stuck and tried to get out, she went back and forth in the car and it got extremely stuck, so it was buried up to the bumper I believe they said, and at that point it probably caught on fire," said Sherwood.
