List of police reports (look it up by date 12-12-12) to see possible locations where the Ford Expedition was found.
For some reason the Sheriff's Office is withholding the location/info about how they found Brian's car.

I made a timeline with Googlemaps.....

Most of my info was derived from the Find Brian Trumbo facebook page.

    rumors/comments from FB

Don't know how to describe this...but on the find brian facebook page, there is a person who has been searching and organizing searches in the area the car was found. He talks about organizing a search and puts up a FB link to a search page. In the comments on that page about the search, they talk about an object they found that could be of significance (shoes left in the mud). They turned them into LE.

Also, on the find brian page, a friend (in the comments) says that the brakes on the car were known to be faulty IIRC.

So, the current theory that the FB searcher has is that the car went into the creek and Brian got out and was disoriented.

Officials said that the body was found on the north side of Dorena Reservoir near the Harms Park boat landing.

The Lane County Sheriff's Office said that they believe the deceased is Brian Trumbo, a man who was reported missing on Thursday, Dec. 28.
    Such sad news................

I just can't understand why the Sheriff's office found his car the day after he went missing and yet failed to tell anyone for weeks! And now they found his body right nearby...........

On the Find Brian Trumbo facebook page someone wrote they found barefoot footprints and shoes in the area where the body was found. Not sure what that could mean.....

    They are broke. Here's why:

"What we've seen this week - what we've seen as our system has eroded over the last several years - is the result of the reduction of tens of millions of real dollars. It cannot be blamed on uncontrollable cost, bad management or waste. No single immediate solution will fix our system. We need a long-term solution to a sustainable public safety system that lays out the incremental steps to get there. We are committed to identifying such a cohesive strategy."
