5-year-old Akira Lowe and her 58-year-old Grandmother Antionetta Anderson have been missing since December 29, 2012 from the South Side of Chicago, IL.

According to the Chicago PD Missing Persons Alert, they were last seen Saturday in the 8200 block of South Racine Avenue in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

Police described Akira as 3-foot-2, 35 pounds and black with a light complexion. She has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black and pink coat and black boots, the alert said.

Anderson was described as 5-foot-2, 150 pounds and black with a medium complexion. She has brown eyes and black hair, the alert said, and she was last seen wearing a burgundy coat, blue jeans and black gym shoes.
