Police are looking for help in locating a missing person.
Kristopher David Clarke, 29, was last seen on Feb. 22, 2012, in Williston.
He is 5-foot-10 and weighs about 140 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes. Clarke also has scars, pins, and plates from a motorcycle accident.

I have been following the FB missing page for a good few months now and my heart bleeds for this young man's mother. She makes at least one post every day and today is his birthday - heartbreaking stuff. I would love to see some of the brilliant sleuths at WS look into this case and perhaps help this lady locate her son.

There is masses of information about KC and the circumstances under which he went missing under in the 'about' section of the FB page. I'm pleased to say it is a very well run page, with none of the chaos so many of the FB missing pages seem to descend into.

So why does he go by KC Gimpdaddy? Is this the name he usually uses or his real name I wonder.

One link says the nickname comes from a limp/injury, due to a motorcycle accident.

He had a really bad motorcycle accident and now walks with a limp - it's an affectionate name given to him by his friends.

Not sure I would feel all that affectionate toward my pals if they called me that! :slap:

From what I have read, his mum strongly suspects foul play, and with his former employers refusing to take a polygraph I can see where she is coming from.

However, in my digging I came across a post in a hunting forum from a friend of his which states his moving away coincided with finding out out his girlfriend cheated on him, then his disappearance coincides with finding out she is pregnant by the other guy.

Obviously, this is just one person's opinion found on an unrelated forum, but could put a different slant on the case.

Charley Project lists his age as 20, although everywhere else he is 29.

Very suspicious about the truck company owner and his wife. Wish we knew the back story of what his mom meant by spotlighting them re the disappearance. She is really (understandably) devastated.

Interesting. I'd be interviewing the pregnant ex and her new bf.

I think this post on the Find KC page (and the information in the About) gives a big clue as to why there are concerns over the company owner

Appears the guy KC travelled from Texas with is the owner.. if they were friends, why wasn't he trying to help find his buddy?

The last place Kristopher was seen was actually at Blackstone Trucking which, if I have found the correct address, is Highway 73 & 22 in Mandaree - about 75 miles outside Williston, where his truck was found some months later in June. I can't find any reference to the street name the truck was found on though.

Mandaree looks like a very quiet and isolated place and the address for Blackstone seems even more isolated.

I just ran across a flyer for his search on my Facebook newsfeed, and logged on to see if there was anything about his case here. I have signed up on the official page that is run by his mother at FB, too.

The following is a copy/paste of information that accompanied a flyer of information. Seeking the Lost is the one that put out the flyer (that I will post in this comment, below.) There are a lot of identifying marks due to injuries and various surgeries KC has had. This explains more:

POSTING ON FB - ‎1/7/2013 - Seeking the Lost:

He is 5'10" and 140-155 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

He walks with a slight LIMP from injuries sustained.

He was driving a white 2007 Chevy 2500 series diesel crew cab pick up-license plate # AC63117 which was located in Williston, North Dakota on 6/1/2012.

I don't have a FB acct, but just saw where Kristopher's mother is wondering how she can increase media exposure, as Elaine Redwine has done. We have some resources posted at WS in the Resource Center, and here's another one. http://www.ojjdp.gov/pubs/childismissing/contents.html

I'm hoping someone here can message the family on FB and point them to these resources.

FB page works for me. There are comments as recent as 20 mins ago. They had a search last week.

What a dazzling smile! A terrible story - I hope the search yields something that can give this family hope or peace.
