I presume she was on foot? I hate to think that, in Detroit in the middle of winter. But, there's no mention of a vehicle."Some circumstantial evidence is very strong, as when you find a trout in the milk."

John Carlisle: Detroit man blankets the city in search for missing wife
March 24, 2013
She's the love of his life. And one day, she was just gone.
For three months now, Calvin Friday has searched for his wife, Joyce Friday. Almost every morning, he walks the streets of Detroit, stapling flyers to telephone poles, asking for help in finding her.
This is just heartbreaking.....

Closure difficult to find when missing loved ones turn up dead
MAY 23, 2013 AT 1:00 AM
Joyce Friday , 74, who had dementia, left her Detroit home Dec. 1. She reportedly was spotted around the city numerous times in the following weeks, but her body was found last month in a pond at the New Rogell Golf Course, some five blocks away, said her husband, Calvin Friday. County officials said she likely died from a heart attack, but relatives want a second opinion. "I just want closure," her husband said. "I just want to know what happened to her."
Rest in Peace Ms. Friday.
