Disgusted by the recorded phone conversations between JA and Det. Flores.

JA is SO chipper- 'Oh, hey! How's it going?!'

nevermind, I just saw the time in the very first post - how about that! ;-)
 
I'm bringing this over from the end of the last thread:

I just had a thought...

She had no defensive wounds to speak of, right? A big problem for the defense and her whole argument of killing in self-defense.

What if, in the picture we saw, she had been doing things to purposefully anger him, hoping he would get angry and attack her in some way physically, leaving marks that would support her case? But he never would do anything back to her...? Maybe she just pushed him and pushed him but it didn't work. So she finally just killed him anyway.

That's my new theory: she needed defensive wounds and tried to push him over the edge, to the point of physical attack or restraint from him. But poor Travis didn't have it in him. And the picture shows it. Desperation.

Re: defensive wounds.

If she had defensive wounds then she would have made sure somebody saw them. She had a couple of bandaids on her fingers and she was wearing long sleeves when she met up with Burns twelve hours later.
Had she thought of the defensive wounds angle in 2008 she have have self inflicted some and then made sure they were seen.

Having said that...
Do we think Burns and JA were fully intimate that day or did they keep their clothes on and just "grind" as the prosecutor said.
JA may not have wanted to get naked with JB because then he may have seen what was on her arms that she may have been trying to hide.

Other things that make me go hmmmmm
She would have had to have a shower to wash blood off her and her clothes. She showed up at Burns' house presumably in clean clothes and washed hair etc.

According to Ryan in court yesterday, he did kiss her stomach so he saw at least part of her unclothed...
 
I live in AZ. I'm thinking I need to take some vacation time and get my shiny little hiney to the courthouse to see this live.
