OK OK - Amber Stokke, 22, pregnant, The Village, OKC, 10 Jan 2013

1:45 p.m. Deputy Chief Steve Jagosh said a witness to the killing of Amber Dawn Stokke was a passenger in the car Stokke was driving. Jagosh said Stokke was shot multiple times. The witness told police they were confronted by a black man as Stokkes was backing out of a driveway. Stokke and the man exchanged words and that was when he fired several shots into the car, the witness told police. Jagosh said Stokke drove away and the man ran south on Sunnymeade with another black man who had been standing in the yard. Police have no suspects and no motive, he said.

THE VILLAGE — Police are counting the shooting death of a pregnant woman as a double homicide — the first two of 2013.

Amber Dawn Stokke, 22, was shot multiple times in her car outside her home at 10305 Sunnymeade Place about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Deputy Chief Steve Jagosh said. She was six months pregnant.

The neighbor, who asked to remain anonymous, said she awoke Friday to her mother knocking on her door in fear she had been the person killed. The neighbor said she was shocked to hear about the incident because the neighborhood is usually friendly and quiet.

She described Stokke as a pleasant woman. The house where Stokke and others lived is busy with a lot of people coming and going, but they are good neighbors, she said.

THE VILLAGE — The family of a slain pregnant woman is seeking help from the public to bring her killer to justice.

Amber Stokke, 22, was shot and killed in her car just outside her home in The Village nearly two weeks ago. Police said they have no new leads or suspects at this time. A witness told police two black males were involved — one shot Stokke and the other watched and fled with the shooter.

Stokke's family is offering $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the shooting.

It was last May that The Village police conducted a wiretap on Cedric Wallace and Michael Isiaka - two people they considered persons of interest in the murder of Amber Stokke and her unborn child.

Wallace was Amber's boyfriend and appeared to be running a drug ring with Isiaka, where they were trafficking "cocaine, marijuana, prescription pills and Molly"... In August, both men were brought before a grand jury, which was hearing testimony about the murder, but neither was arrested...

“We need a witness to come forward,” said Jagosh. “We need witnesses to come forward if they know the persons involved in this - and any information they have in reference to this. We need witnesses.”
