Lexus SUV Barely Misses Hitting Store Clerk

CINCINNATI -- A 15-year-old girl taking a driving lesson crashed a Lexus SUV into a vacant storefront in Symmes Township Thursday afternoon.

The SUV stopped when it crashed partly through the wall of an adjacent Mattress Warehouse store, barely missing a clerk.

This happened in a strip mall at 12096 Montgomery Road.

Police said it was a case of an inexperienced driver stepping on the gas instead of the brake.

The girl and her passenger were not injured, police said.

A Mattress Warehouse employee was sitting on the other side of the wall reading a newspaper when the vehicle crashed, News 5's Emily Longnecker reported.

Just when I think that I have seen the most depraved things a human can do to another human, somebody posts a new story...........

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?

    note

Note to girls parents: next time use an older sedan to train new drivers.
This is my opinion, and change is good.

LOL, my daughter's first time out driving was with her aunt. She got pulled over for DWI. No ticket, as soon as he talked with her the trooper realized the problem. After warning her about trying to drive straight, he let her go. I tease her about that now whenever she gets too cocky about what a good driver she is.
