Body recovered, two arrested after casket stolen from Detroit cemetery

Detroit Police have recovered the body and casket of a missing a 93-year-old man who had been taken Monday from an east-side cemetery.
Detroit Police Sgt. Eren Stephens said the body of the man was found at a home located in the 4700 block of Eastlawn Street.
Earlier Tuesday, two male suspects, ages 38 and 48, were in custody after patrol officers found a white van along with a person of interest at 7:05 a.m. at a Citgo gas station near Dickerson Street and Harper Avenue.
Inside the van, the officers discovered the missing coffin but not the body of the deceased, Stephens said...
