From January 2013:
Kaleb S. Rosin, 22, and Brett E. Vaughn, 23, were sentenced by Bay County Circuit Judge Harry P. Gill to a minimum of 15 years, and a maximum of 30 years, in prison. The pair pleaded no-contest in August to second-degree murder...
Judge Gill in March 2013 sentenced Stephen P. Ashley Jr. to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole for the 2011 premeditated murder of Houston.
Evidence in the case showed Ashley was concerned about money he owed Houston for cocaine. After killing Houston, Ashley enlisted his two friends to move Houston’s body and the Cadillac to the banks of the Saginaw River in Zilwaukee Township, all three of them testified. Ashley set fire to the Cadillac in an attempt to conceal the crime, Rosin and Vaughn testified.
