Unidentified Male

* The victim was discovered on December 07, 2012
* Partial skeleton found in wooded area next to city landfill.

Vital Statistics

* Estimated age: 40-65 years old
* Distinguishing Characteristics: Three front upper teeth missing Antemortem, three medical screws placed in left medio-distal femur.
* DNA: Y-STR collected. Sample submitted to University of North Texas, Tests not complete.

This body has been there since sometime between 1950 and 2012.

I think that it would be really easy to identify this man, The three missing upper front teeth are really specific.

Update at 10:54 a.m. December 8: Dallas police sent an update this morning concerning the discovered skull. Says the brief email: “A search was conducted and more bones were found a short distance away from the skull. The bones were weathered and had no outward appearance of trauma. The Medical Examiner took custody of the remains and will conduct further testing to determine cause of death.”

About an hour later, an “unknown” caller dialed 911 to report a grim discovery along S. Central Expressway near the city of Dallas-owned-and-operated McCommas Bluff Landfill: a human skull.

Amazing, even Vet sx packs have numbers on their pins. I wonder why these do not; they should check for serial numbers and see if he is a vet, or a VA patient or ex or prior military.

Yayy! My man was identified.
Now let's find out who he was
