He and his wife have been married for 24 years. They met at Jackson High School and became a couple when he was a junior and she was a sophomore.

They imagined children were impossible; they had not taken measures to protect against pregnancy and the babies never came.

Neat story. At first I wondered how one couldn't know they were 9 mo's pregnant, but considering her previous stomach surgery it seems like a reasonable explanation.
