This no photo NamUs MP casefile has been in the system since 2009.

There's not alot of info on her, but I found three photos of her (including her senior portrait) in the 1967 Omaha Central High School yearbook (when she was about 18 years old). She went missing in 1981 at the age of 30, so she was much older at the time that she went missing. But nevertheless, she has a distinctive facial shape.

I'd say close enough to submit if you haven't already. The only difference I see is in the forhead. Anna seems to have a short forhead and the UID does not, but I think that could be the artists rendition. The rest of the face looks close enough to think this is a good possibility.

Oops, :nevermind:. She is on the NamUs rule-out list for this UID.

But nevertheless - it's good to have a photo of her out there - so that nobody gets the inkling that she might be the Buckskin Girl (like I did).

Here's another Jane Doe who fits Anna's description. Not sure about the anomalies in the "Distinguishing Marks/Features" section, but she fits pretty closely on all other counts.

Case History

A person looking for firewood in a desolate area discovered the remains of the victim on George Road, just north of Noland Road. Afraid that dogs would carry off the remains, the person put the remains in a box and took them home and called police. No one was seen at or near the recovery site when the remains were found.

Details of Disappearance
Ciaccio was last seen in Papillion, Nebraska on March 5, 1981. She had gone to spend the night at her brother's residence, and went missing from there. She left her winter coat and her wallet behind.

Her mother believes she may have seen Ciaccio at the corner of 42nd and Q Street while she was driving past. By the time her mother was able to park the car and go back to that corner, the woman she saw was gone. Ciaccio has never been heard from again.

Although Ciaccio had dropped out of sight before, she would always contact her family within a few days to let them know she was all right. She is described as a very religious person who spent time in various churches and had even considered joined a convent. Her case remains unsolved.
