    ARREST!!! Australia - Allison Baden-Clay, Brisbane QLD, 19 April 2012 -#26

    We have a detailed, formal Terms of Service (TOS) posted separately, and that TOS is what you will be held to as a member here. It's long and detailed because it has to be in the world we live in, and you are expected to read it, understand it and abide by it. However, we can sum it up as follows:

    1) Be a decent human being;
    2) Treat your fellow posters as the decent human beings they are;
    3) Keep in mind that whatever you post will likely live on forever, so think before you press "Submit Reply".
    4) It's a big world. People will disagree with you. You will disagree with them. This can be done with respect, and that's what we expect.

    Please continue here...

    Please do not discuss rumors. Although SOME rumors turn out to be true in the end, there are also those that are just that 'rumor,' and tend to derail the threads. Until there's a 'link' to verify a circumstance, we ask you do NOT post rumors.

    If locals wish to be verified (as local residents with insider information), then we would be able to discuss, unless the information might jeopardize the investigation or case.

    Yes, in past threads there had been rumors discussed. Going forward, no rumors. Locals please refrain from posting any insider information unless it can be linked to a valid source, or until you become a verified local member

    The below link is where all questions about the board, process, procedure and rules should be asked. Any post regarding WS TOS, policy or procedure in the case discussion thread will be removed and you will be subject to loss of privileges on this board. (Potentially permanent loss of privileges)

    Threadiquette- Questions about rules welcome here - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

    There is to be no more discussion (or subtle accusations) about verification, verified members or the process in the case thread. If you do not appreciate the input of a "verified" member, treat it as you would any other poster. Take the information or leave it. Use the IGNORE feature if you must!! But please move on!

    The moderators do give certain leeway to verified posters, as per our rules and policy.

    Other than this, the rules are the same for everyone.

    If you have a concern, please contact a moderator.

    If the (sometimes) veiled bickering, negative nit picking or seemingly "ganging up" on other members doesn't stop, management will again review this forum and may close if necessary for an extended period of time.

    We have many great posters in Allison's sub-forum! And we all want the same thing!

    Justice for Allison.

    Please consider all the above when posting!

    Thank you kindly

    I drove over kholo creek bridge yesterday (do quite often cos I live nearby) and I REALLY can't see how GBC could have thrown poor Alison's body over the bridge. Can anyone shed some light? That is an 80 km/hr main road and the bridge is at the bottom of a hill and I always find people speed and tailgate thru that section. So cars would have been approaching the bridge fast. Second it's not a windy approach to the bridge so it's not as tho the bridge is tucked around a corner hidden from view. Third if he'd parked on the bridge got out of car then taken Allison out of car it all would have taken at least 2 minutes on a bridge that us well used, has speeding traffic, and surely that would be a very big gamble. Wouldn't it be 'safer' to park the car and trapse thruthe bushes down the side of the bridge. Then go home and wash everything thoroughly and say the small bush scratches were from caterpillars?

    Doidy - if we're assuming that the deeds happened in the middle of the night or the small hours of the morning, then there would have been a very high chance that there would be NO traffic. And at night, because as you point out, that stretch of road is straight, approaching traffic would have been seen and heard long before it got anywhere near.

    It would take approximately a minute or a minute and a half to stop, jump out, open the tailgate, drag a body out and roll it over the side of the bridge, close the tailgate, and away, I reckon. Any marks left on the side of the road or edge of the bridge would have been well and truly washed away by all that rain just before the body was found.

    The thing that puzzles me though is how she came to be UNDER the bridge, not beside it. Especially if the experts have said that she was NOT washed to her final resting place even on that flood tide - she was ABOVE the water level. Unless a bit of rolling or bouncing put her more under the bridge than straight down beside it...

    IMO it is part of the ongoing QPolice investigation, so most likely, QPolice are unable to release information to the public. If they were able to, the media would be all over it.

    Bumping this from the previous thread too

    "Olivia looked absolutely shell shocked following the first bail application. My impression was she walked in believing in GBCs innocence but walked out with a very different opinion."

    I'm afraid I didn't get that impression.
    I thought she looked stern, even a bit cranky, but not necessarily shell-shocked, and since that bail hearing she has actively helped GBC to sell the property out from under the Dickies, so I'm afraid, I dont have much faith in the theory that Olivia is possibly no longer a supporter of GBC's innocence.

    Funnily enough, I have never believed that she had 100% trust in the fact that her brother was innocent anyhow.
    I didn't trust her in the interview, and I cant see why she ran away from the media, across the neighbours yard, if there was nothing to hide.
    The BC's have made out that the media were so intrusive, but all I saw was the media being sympathetic, and asking them for any updates and information. I've never before witnessed a missing person case where this was denied by the family and loved ones of the missing person.

    MOO of course, and with full respect to everyone elses opinion. We just dont know and thats a fact, We soon might get an idea though...
